Help us renovet the church building, and build Multi-purpose G+4 building
For years, our congregation has gathered faithfully, in tents, rented halls, under shelters, and in open spaces. Now, by God's grace and the generosity of our members and friends, we are raising funds to beautifully culminate the permanent church building in the heart of Dire Dawa.
This building will serve not only as a place of Sunday worship, but as a centre open every day of the week; for cell group meetings, prayer gatherings, children's Sunday School, youth programmes, women's fellowship, leadership training seminars, and community outreachs. The G+4 Multi-purpose building will be commercialised to finance the church's ministry to the wider Dire Dawa community for generations to come.
It is a building for this generation and the next, a declaration in stone and steel that Christ is the foundation of this community.

A permanent building is not just bricks and mortar. It is a statement of faith; a place where generations will come to know Christ, be baptised, be married, mourn together, celebrate together, and be sent out to serve.
The Meserete Kristos Church grew from a handful of believers in 1951 to over 120,000 members across Ethiopia; sustained not by wealth, but by the faithfulness of ordinary people who gave what they had. Your gift continues that story here in Dire Dawa.
A permanent hall for Sunday worship, prayer meetings, and all-week discipleship activities.
A seminar and training centre for pastors, evangelists, cell group leaders, and visiting MKC partners.
Space for kindergarten, skills training, and outreach programmes serving the wider Dire Dawa community.
Every birr contributed is a brick laid. Every prayer offered is a foundation poured. Join the congregation of MKC Dire Dawa in this historic effort.
